Starting the Conversation

If you’re wondering whether this might be a good fit, these questions can help you get oriented.

My office (The Center for Mindful Psychotherapy) is based in San Francisco. I work exclusively online, as most of my clients have preferred to pursue our work from the comfort of their homes as they juggle their busy schedules.

You only need a quiet, private spot and a reliable Internet connection.

I work with burnt-out, stuck, or overwhelmed professionals and creatives.

My clients look successful on the outside but feel like they’re barely holding it together on the inside.

They’re tired of performing for the world and are ready to explore who they are beneath all expectations.

If you’ve ever felt paralyzed by self-doubt, trapped in patterns you can’t break, or haunted by a persistent ache you can’t quite name, I can help you. The following are some examples of issues that we can address:

  • Chronic stress and anxiety that’s become your unwanted companion.
  • Emotional wounds from the past that refuse to stay buried.
  • The constant second-guessing and self-criticism that steals your peace.
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, your purpose, or your creativity.

In short, if you want to break free from the things that keep you stuck and start living authentically, you’re in the right place.

Yes! I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to determine whether we fit well. It’s your chance to ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and understand what working together might feel like.

You can schedule a free consultation through the contact form. Or you can call me at 508-715-9682 and let me know the best time to call back.

The Practical Details

Here you’ll find straightforward information about sessions, pricing, and scheduling.

Sessions are typically a “therapist’s hour,” or 50-55 minutes long. It’s just enough time to process an issue without the risk of leaving you feeling emotionally wrung out. Think of it as a powerful reset button for your week. I also offer two-hour deep-dive sessions for those with a specific, clear issue needing additional time to explore in greater depth.

My full fee is $200 per session. While I don’t take insurance, I can provide you with a superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Investing in your mental and emotional well-being is one of the most impactful things you can do for yourself – you’re worth it. I offer a sliding scale for those experiencing economic stress. If that’s you, let me know when we speak.

Life happens, and I get it. I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed sessions or same-day cancellations will incur a full session fee.

What Working Together Is Like

These questions offer a glimpse into what therapy with me feels like and how we’ll begin.

Think of the first few sessions as a gentle excavation. We’ll get to know each other, uncover what’s brought you here, and start identifying the root causes we need to work with.

Not quite. While we’ll undoubtedly talk, this work goes deeper. As I mentioned before, somatic psychotherapy brings your whole self – mind, body, and unconscious – into the process. It will be helpful if you have space to move around when we meet, as we may do some exercises that require movement. I’ll draw on many techniques to give you an approach tailored to your unique story and needs.

That’s okay. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. The beauty of somatic therapy is that it’s not just about dredging up the past; it’s about creating a new way forward, starting with where you are right now.

About Somatic Therapy

An overview of somatic psychotherapy and how this approach supports deeper, lasting change.

Have you ever had an intellectual breakthrough where you suddenly understood why you’re struggling, but your life didn’t change? That’s because therapy needs to work at a deeper level than just our mind.

Somatic psychotherapy reaches those deeper levels by working with the body and the unconscious. We’ll decode and use your body’s signals to guide deep, lasting healing.

Hope, Healing, and What’s Possible

Questions many people carry quietly — about change, readiness, and feeling better.

Yes. It might feel impossible right now, but change is absolutely within reach. Your body, mind, and spirit are incredibly resilient. Together, we’ll help you rediscover that resilience and build the life you’ve longed for.
