The transformation

Stop escaping from your life—and start creating it.

The feelings that once sent you into hiding will no longer decide what happens next. You will learn to stay present, reclaim the energy you spend escaping, and direct it toward the relationships, work, and dreams that matter.

You may still lose yourself sometimes. But you will no longer stay lost. You will know how to return—and keep choosing the life you want.

LIVING PROOF is not about perfecting the persona you built to survive. It is about reclaiming the parts of yourself you had to abandon, letting them be met differently in relationship, remembering who you are beneath your history, and using that recovered aliveness to build the life you’ve been postponing.

What will be different by the end of LIVING PROOF

After six weeks, you will not simply understand yourself differently. You will have learned a new way to move through life.

You will know how to stay with yourself. When shame, grief, anger, desire, or uncertainty arises, you will be better able to remain present rather than automatically disappearing into distraction, performance, or control.
You will let more of your real self be seen. You will practice telling the truth, expressing what you need, and allowing others to encounter parts of you that you previously believed would cost you connection.
You will experience yourself as larger than your history. You will have spiritual practices for loosening the grip of your limiting self-story and returning to the deeper ground of your true nature.
You will be moving toward the life you have postponed. You will have interrupted the pattern of avoidance hijacking your life and taken visible steps toward your relationships, creative work, contribution, and dreams.

What is really happening

You understand your patterns. So why do they still control your life?

Perhaps you have done years of therapy, meditation, self-inquiry, or personal development. You can name the wound, explain the attachment pattern, recognize the nervous-system response, and then helplessly watch the behavior happen.

And still, evening comes. You mean to rest for twenty minutes. Suddenly it is one in the morning and the whole night has disappeared into a screen. Or the moment you feel lonely, exposed, uncertain, unwanted, or angry, something in you wants to disappear.

You may call it burnout, procrastination, executive dysfunction, freeze, or a lack of discipline. Those descriptions can contain truth. Beneath them is often a simpler reality:

You keep leaving yourself.

Painful experiences teach us which parts of ourselves feel safe to reveal—and which we need to hide. Avoidance becomes a way to escape the feelings shame has made difficult to bear.

So we reach for relief that doesn’t require us to be seen.

The phone, the work, the food, the fantasy, the game, the porn, the podcast—even spiritual teachings—can offer temporary refuge. But they cannot know you, love you, or ultimately give you the help you need.

The Self Abandonment Loop

01Activation

A feeling, need, impulse, or desire rises.

02Shame

An old conclusion tells you it is dangerous, shameful, or overwhelming to allow that feeling to move within you.

03Self-Abandonment

You check out from life through distraction, numbing, performance, fantasy, or control.

04Temporary Relief

The escape provides real—but temporary—relief.

05The Life You Lose

You lose another day that could have been filled with intimacy, vitality, creativity, and meaningful action.

06The Cycle Deepens

The resulting shame and disappointment from spinning out make the next escape attempt even more likely.

The Way Out

Waiting for a more disciplined future self is part of the loop. The way out is not becoming better at controlling yourself. It is expanding your capacity to stay with what arises, receiving care and acceptance for the parts of yourself you expect others to reject, and discovering that your past does not have the final word on who you are allowed to become.

BodyYou cannot feel fully alive in a body you keep leaving.
LoveYou cannot be loved for a hidden self no one gets to meet.
ContributionThe world cannot receive a gift you never let it encounter.
The LIVING PROOF method

Shame keeps its power for as long as you keep abandoning the parts of yourself it taught you to reject.

It transforms as you expand your capacity to stay with what you feel, let the parts you fear are broken be met differently in relationship, and learn to inhabit an identity deeper than the story constructed around what happened to you. Creative expression gives that reclaimed aliveness somewhere to go.

Where You’ll See Transformation

This work should change more than how you understand yourself. It should become visible in how you inhabit your body, relate to other people, practice spiritually, and bring your gifts into the world.

Journal, water and a kintsugi cup in luminous morning light
Embodied Presence

Stay with what shame taught you to leave.

Your escape begins before you reach for the phone. It begins when a feeling becomes too uncomfortable to stay with. You will learn to recognize that moment in your body, remain present without becoming overwhelmed, reclaim the part of yourself you had been pushing away and create enough space to choose a different response.

From automatic escape toward embodied choice.
Warm, attentive conversation in a calm setting
Relationships

Let the hidden parts of you be met differently.

We only rewire our expectations about how others will relate to the parts of us we believe are broken through reparative emotional experiences—not abstract theory, rumination, or willpower. This is why you haven’t been able to break the cycle on your own. You will practice speaking, asking, receiving, and allowing more of yourself to be seen while connection continues.

From bracing for rejection toward letting care reach you.
Contemplative practice beside a meditation bell and mala
Spiritual Practice

Inhabit an identity deeper than your history.

Through an accessible introduction to the meditative practices of the Vajrayana tradition, you will learn to expand your identity beyond the limiting story formed around your past, contact the luminous core of your being, and build a vessel within you that can contain and maintain that expanded state.

From wounded self-story toward an identity rooted in your true nature.
Hands giving shape to a creative direction beside a kintsugi bowl
Creative Expression

Use that freed up energy to change your life.

Transformation is not complete when you simply feel more alive inside. You will clarify what you want to create, contribute, or change—and turn your reclaimed energy into a concrete project, decision, or courageous next step. Whether that means making art, launching an offering, changing your job, deepening a relationship, or acting on a long-deferred dream, you will leave with tangible evidence that your inner transformation can reshape your outer life.

From postponed possibility toward visible creation and consequential action.

There is a part of you that pain shaped—and a deeper inner ground that pain could never take from you.

As you reconnect with who you are beyond what happened to you, you begin to release the contraction driving your avoidance. The energy once spent hiding becomes available for intimacy, creation, and the life you have been postponing.

How the six weeks work

Enough time to go deep. Enough support to follow through.

Two deep-dive sessions each week give us time to move beyond discussing ideas and into the places where your patterns actually live. Each session gives you a place to bring what you would normally struggle with alone—and find a new way through with support.

Why only twelve people?

Because this work depends on being truly seen. The cohort is small enough for patterns to become visible, for trust to deepen, and for each person’s process to matter. It creates continuity without turning the room into a conference or content stream.

Wednesdays · 5:00–7:30 p.m. PacificLive 2.5-hour core session.
Sundays · 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. PacificLive 2.5-hour core session.
Weekdays · optional Vajra CircleThirty minutes of guided Vajrayana meditation, followed by thirty minutes of optional Q&A and integration.

What happens inside a session?

Each gathering can combine focused teaching with:

Guided practiceExperiential psychological workBody-based practiceRelational exercisesReflectionIntegration

Between sessions, carefully chosen assignments bring the work into your actual relationships, habits, spiritual life, creative projects, and decisions. Sessions are recorded, but the value comes from participation rather than passive content consumption.

The six-week arc

The six weeks move through three phases.

Ground. Path. Fruition.

Each phase builds upon the last: first turning inward to encounter what has been hidden, then transforming your relationship with it, and finally carrying that change into the life you are here to create.

Weeks 1–2

The Ground

Descend Beneath the Pattern

You turn toward the shadow material beneath your dominant pattern of avoidance—the old wounds, rejected needs, buried feelings, and limiting conclusions shaping your life. You build enough embodied capacity to encounter what you have spent years escaping.

Embodied capacity · Encounter with shadow
Weeks 3–4

The Path

Stay. Reveal. Remember.

You will learn to repattern your relationship to the social world. You’ll bring forward the parts of yourself you’ve always expected others to reject and have the opportunity to experience them being met in a new way. In doing so, you will learn to free yourself from the grip of shame and avoidance.

Relational repatterning · Identity rooted in your true nature
Weeks 5–6

The Fruition

Build the Life You Have Been Postponing

What has been reclaimed is given somewhere to go. Increased presence, relational freedom, and an identity rooted in your true nature become creative expression, compassionate contribution, and visible movement toward the life avoidance kept postponed.

Creative manifestation · Consequential action
By the end of six weeks, every participant will have identified and worked directly with the shadow material driving the pattern of avoidance hijacking their life, interrupted that pattern, and taken visible steps toward the life they have been postponing.

I built the program I wish I’d had in my darkest years.

I know the distance between appearing capable and privately feeling absent from your own life.

After my brother died when I was a child, I spent much of the next eight years depressed, isolated, and increasingly convinced that something was fundamentally wrong with me. By my twenties, I had learned how to appear capable while privately disappearing from my own life.

I had enormous creative and spiritual ambitions, yet I lost entire days to video games, online chess, bingeing television, fantasy novels—anything that kept me from having to feel my life. I left creative projects unfinished, hid from the people I most wanted to know me, and lived with the peculiar shame of understanding my patterns while remaining completely unable to free myself from them.

I treated the behavior as the problem. I thought I needed more discipline, a better system, or one decisive realization. What I eventually understood was that the behavior had a purpose: it helped me leave the parts of myself I didn’t have the capacity to contain.

Somatic work taught me how that departure was organized in the body. Relational work taught me that some things change only when they are seen in a new way by another person. The meditative practices of Vajrayana allowed me to contact deeper dimensions of identity beyond the blinders of my self-story. I began putting the energy I had spent escaping into music, creative projects, and work that mattered to me.

LIVING PROOF brings those streams together in the focused coaching container I wish I could have entered then.

Who this is for

Those who are done putting their life on hold.

LIVING PROOF is designed for soulful creatives—artists, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and thoughtful professionals—who can explain their patterns but cannot reliably transform them.

This may be for you if:

  • You are psychologically or spiritually aware but lose access to that awareness when a pattern takes over
  • You are outwardly capable and privately tired of living at a distance from yourself
  • You want to work through the body, relationship, spiritual practice, and creative action—not insight alone
  • You are willing to finally be honest with yourself and tell the truth about where you’re at in life
  • You are ready to take meaningful action towards your dreams while the cohort is underway

This is probably not for you if:

  • You want a passive, self-paced course that asks little of you between sessions
  • You cannot presently commit approximately five live hours each week plus focused assignments
  • You are looking for psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or mental-health treatment
  • You want spiritual teaching without experiential, relational, or creative work
  • You are not willing to experiment with interrupting avoidance in your actual life
Questions and honest hesitations

Before you decide.

I already understand my patterns. What will be different?

Understanding is valuable, but a protective pattern often takes over before thought can reorganize it. LIVING PROOF works with the body that enacts the pattern, the relationships where its expectations can be contradicted, the spiritual practices that reshape identity, and the concrete actions through which change becomes visible. You are not joining for another explanation. You are joining to practice a different response while support and accountability are present.

I am afraid I will not follow through.

That fear belongs in the work. The program is structured around live contact, a small cohort, a twice-weekly rhythm, and assignments tied to your actual life. You do not need flawless consistency. You do need a sincere willingness to return—including after you avoid, miss, resist, or lose momentum.

Will I have to disclose everything to strangers?

No. Depth is not forced disclosure. You will be encouraged to be honest and allow yourself to be known, but you remain responsible for your pace and boundaries. Members will be asked to honor the privacy of what others share as an ethical commitment of the cohort.

I do not have enough time.

The commitment is substantial: approximately five live hours each week, plus focused assignments. The invitation is to compare that investment with the hours already lost to numbing, rumination, indecision, and repeatedly starting over. The optional weekday Vajra Circle can deepen the work but is not required.

Is this therapy?

No. LIVING PROOF is a coaching and experiential-development program, not psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. The focus is participation, practice, relationships, spirituality, creative life, and meaningful action.

What if I miss a session?

Core sessions are recorded so you can catch up. Because the relational field is part of the method, live attendance matters. The guarantee requires attendance at least 80% of core sessions and completion of the assignments.

Do I need Buddhist or Vajrayana experience?

No. The meditative practices in this program will be presented accessibly and without requiring you to adopt a belief system. Weekday Vajra Circle sessions are optional. Curiosity and a willingness to experiment are enough.

Enrollment

The next chapter will only begin when you learn to stop abandoning yourself.

The work is not to manufacture a better persona. It is to stop abandoning yourself, rediscover the deeper layers of your nature, and channel that recovered vitality into your purpose.

We begin Sunday, November 1, 2026. The cohort is limited to twelve people so the room can remain intimate, responsive, and small enough for each participant to be remembered.

The invitation

Become LIVING PROOF that we can change.

Not proof that we never struggle. Proof that our history does not define us—and that the life ahead is still ours to shape.
